NAMI FaithNet is an interfaith resource network of NAMI members, friends, clergy, and congregations of all faith traditions who wish to encourage faith communities who are welcoming and supportive of persons and families living with mental illness. We strive to encourage welcoming, caring congregations, as well as to promote the vital role of spirituality in the recovery journeys of many who live with mental health conditions, those for whom faith is a key component.
We have presenters who come to faith-based congregations and organizations to educate members, provide support, and promote “getting the word out.” We know that spirituality plays a vital role in recovery for many people, so we want to reach out to provide mental health education and awareness to clergy and congregations of all faith traditions, as well as to individuals who seek faith as a component of their recovery. These presentations are offered free of charge. If you’re a congregation or spiritual network, please contact us to learn more!
