NAMI Basics offers education and support. Taught by parents who have lived similar experiences with their own children. NAMI Basics is an educational program that provides learning and practical insights for families.
Moving stories from positive role models have the power to change kids’ views. The discussion gives students the rare opportunity to ask questions about mental health challenges to people who have lived it.
We have presenters who come to faith-based congregations and organizations to educate members, provide support, and promote “getting the word out.”
Our Family Support Groups are confidential, free of charge, and meet every month. They are led by trained family members who are going through similar situations. Please join us!
NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 12-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people living with mental illness. It is a designated evidenced-based program.
The NAMI Hearts & Minds program discusses several ways to take charge of your mental and physical health with medical self advocacy, smoking cessation, healthy eating, exercise, and others.
NAMI Homefront is a free, 6-session educational program for families, caregivers and friends of military service members and vets with mental health conditions.
Our Peer Support Groups are confidential, free of charge, for adults living with mental illness regardless of their diagnosis, and meet every month. The group is led by someone who is also in recovery, someone who understands the challenges you face.
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, 10-session educational program for adults with mental illness who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery.
